Who we are
This website is operated by Poppy Oddwood, an independent author-publisher based in the United Kingdom. Legal and business details are available on request through the contact page.
Using the site
You may browse, link to and quote short passages from this site for personal, non-commercial purposes with attribution. All text, images, cover artwork and the Poppy Oddwood name are protected by copyright and trade mark law and may not be reproduced or used commercially without written permission. Book descriptions and cover images may be used by booksellers, reviewers and libraries to promote the books.
Direct purchases
Where books are sold directly from this site, the sale is processed through Payhip. Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. A contract is formed when your order is confirmed by email. Ebooks are delivered electronically after payment. Printed books, where offered, are made to order and dispatched by our print partner, Bookvault; delivery estimates are shown at checkout.
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you may cancel an order for a printed book within 14 days of receiving it and return it for a refund; books must be unread and undamaged. Ebooks and other digital downloads are supplied immediately with your express consent and are therefore not refundable once delivered, except where faulty. Faulty or damaged items will be replaced or refunded; write to us through the contact page.
Retailer links
Links to Amazon and other retailers take you to sites we do not control. Purchases there are governed by that retailer’s terms.
Liability
We take care to keep this site accurate and available but provide it as is. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under English law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
