Poppy Oddwood

Oddwood Whimsy

Humorous fantasy tales filled with charm and cosy moments.

This is the room with the kettle on. A retired witch whose quiet life refuses to stay quiet, a sword with opinions, knights who failed the exam, fairy-tale characters forming a union. The lineage is Carroll, Nesbit and Jerome K. Jerome rather than anything grim: small stakes that feel enormous, a joke on every page, and endings that leave you kinder than they found you.

If you read cosy fantasy for the warmth and stay for the wit, start here.

The Chronically Chaotic Chronicles
